About Adult Placement Network

Our History

Adult Placement Network began providing services to Portland, OR in 1997. Michele Fiasca was running an Adult Foster Care Home at the time and began to recognize the need for a different kind of service for families who were facing the need to help their loved ones transition from independent living to assisted living.

Before long, the rewards of helping families through the maze of adult care setting options inspired a new career path. Helping families find the kind of living facilities—facilities she would feel good about sending her own senior parents to—became the passion of her life.

Helping You Choose the Right Senior Care for You

Whether you are making a decision for yourself or for a loved one, choosing the right retirement community makes a difference for end-of-life quality. Many seniors will be able to enjoy relative independence for many years when the right fit is found.

That's why Adult Placement Network intensely screens each Portland retirement community we recommend. We share your concern that you or your loved one may be mistreated. We understand that cost is also a concern. Yet, we always keep this thought in mind. "Would I feel good about my parents living here?"

Working to Keep Seniors at Home Longer

Providing connections with other Portland, OR senior services is also part of what APN does. We strive to help seniors remain at home as long as possible. We connect seniors to home health care, occupational therapists, medication management systems and Adult Day Care so seniors can stay in the home they love for longer.

Making the Transition to Assisted Living Easier

We connect you with companies that specialize in helping seniors and their families sort through the accumulation of a lifetime. These companies help organize and manage estate sales. They help pack, transport and set up new households.
