Alzheimer's Care

Alzheimer care communities are specially designed care settings where the unique needs of the memory impaired are met. Most memory care units are licensed Residential Care. Some of the newer ones are built to feel home-like with private or semi private rooms opening into a spacious living area with a circular design that allows the resident to move freely without long, confining hallways. This type of facility is always secured to protect residents who might otherwise want to wander. Adult Care Homes can also be a good option for a person with dementia who is sleeping through the night and is not wandering.
